We embarked on a discovery-filled journey during our stay to Nepal, travelling from the frantic streets of Kathmandu to the serene beauty of Pokhara and Chitwan. The gorgeous scenery and colourful culture of this stunning nation as well as the friendliness and kindness of the Nepalese people left an impression on us. We started our journey in Kathmandu, where we strolled around its vibrant markets and ancient temples. We enjoyed the spicy momos and fragrant dal bhat of Nepalese cuisine as we learned about the rich cultural traditions that have formed this city for millennia. We next proceeded to Pokhara, a tranquil lakeside town, where we took in the placid splendour of the Himalayan foothills. We hiked to lovely overlooks and ate delectable regional fare. The next round of our journey took us to Chitwan’s lush jungles, where we were able to fully appreciate the area’s abundant wildlife and scenic surroundings. We visited nearby communities, went on a safari in search of tigers and rhinos, and learnt about the significant conservation initiatives being carried out in the region. Overall, our trip to Nepal was an amazing experience that gave us a profound respect for the nation’s rich culture, stunning scenery, and delectable cuisine.
